I don’t get it. 2.5 years at this house. Plenty of power outages in that time. Somehow, the ones we’ve had in the last couple of weeks have fried two network cards.

The machine is on a UPS. The only thing that could’ve fried it is via the cable line. Just bizarre.

I came home today…played with the dog…played with the iPod..I was getting ready to go grocery shopping and realized I hadn’t checked voicemail for messages yet. I picked up the phone…nothing…checked the other phones…nothing. I go outside and the lines been ripped out of the box.

The police will file a report, although I have yet to talk to anyone. I called the phone company, they’ll have it fixed by tomorrow. Damn it’s scary though. That’s two acts of vandalism/attempted theft in a week.
