So, I finally got to give detailed line notes last night. As a writer, it drives me insane when actors paraphrase. Words are deliberately chosen for the connotation they carry. When those words are changed, so is the connotation. I’ve been biting my tongue on a majority of the paraphrasing and skipped phrases, and inverted language for weeks. It felt good to hand over Act I line notes finally. Tonight we do Act II.
