I’m not a big fan of large corporations, so the implication and possibility that someone can prove prior art on the Mickey Mouse image is pretty amusing to me.
The best part is, it would suddenly be in the public domain.
Here’s the article at ananova.

I’d just like to let everyone know how pathetic my old boss was. I left some flyers for the show out both while I was there, and when I left. Apparently he was throwing them out before I left, and then threw out the flyers I left behind as well. Luckily a former co-worker pulled them out of the trash so that they are still available!

Finally found the article online…

With opening night only two nights away, I’ve decided that now is the time to abuse the ping feature of moveable type and hit every locals weblog encouraging them to come see the show…
For more information, visit, Jobsite Theater
So…Robyn at Ain’t Too Proud to Blog and her man over at Demented and Sad need to help spread the word.
Then there’s Jen over at Crazy Island, Jeff over at Side Salad already knows about it, but I don’t want him to feel left out.
The person at Have You Seen My Sunglasses? hasn’t updated in a while, but maybe this’ll get them out.
I just noticed Adnan’s site, but maybe he’ll come see the show.
I’m not sure the person at Season’s Change would be interested, but they might know someone who is.
Now the performing dromedary over at Camel Blog is probably interested, but I don’t know if the person at Totally Cracked even remembers they have a site.
The guy who does MacMerc is from Tampa and has the n3rd.net weblog, I just hope he like Theater.
I can only hope that Ravebard over at RavenLog is interested.
Maybe Dee from Dee’s Deezasters will make it out at some point too!
I’m sure there are some locals I missed, and if you think of anyone who might be interested, please PASS IT ALONG! Support live theater!
Also, remember, if you’re easily offended, you MIGHT not like the show. Check out the info at Jobsite’s website!

Babble
This was just too funny (and cool) to resist sharing. I’m sure there are lots of otehr blogs out there babbling on about how hilarious this is, (since I came across it on Blogdex) but I can’t resist.
The Smoking Gun has come across a legal filing of the history of the word, fuck.

Personal
So..the article came out today. It’s more of a blurb actually. Gianna says I look stiff in the photo (although I don’t know how you can tell in something that small) The photo is yearbook photo size and has two of us in it. The piece is about 250 words at best. I can’t find it online. The good thing is that it isn’t bad. It’s just short and small. I’m not upset because I’m not getting more attention, but I am upset because I was hoping the article would generate more of a buzz for Murder Ballads…C’est la vie I guess.

Jobsite’s fundraiser last night was a lot of fun. Ironically I won season passes to next season in the raffle. I was really hoping for the Hub gift basket, but no such luck…At least I didn’t win the 4 free tickets to Murder Ballads! That would have been silly. Although I could’ve had a contest then.
The Vodanauts were a lof of fun too!
The show opens next week. I’m a little nervous about the article coming out this weekend. Well, I’m not nervous about the article as much as I am coming in to work the next day.
I’ve gotten a cold to luke-warm reception about the play from the few people who have even inqured about the flyers (and desktop wallpaper). I’m thinking that there’s a good chance no one will say anything about the article on Monday.
I started the new job. So far it’s been rather boring as they try to find something they feel comfortable throwing at me. The people are cool though and very into gaming (i.e. Unreal, Battfield 1942, etc..) That’ll be very good when Tony Hawk 4 comes out…
Things are a little disorganized though…not that that’s unusual…I’m sitting at the desk ans using the computer of someone who’s on maternity leave…
Damn them. They won’t let me leave. I was nice…I gave my two weeks. I spent a lot of time trying to train someone else. I’m down to my last 2.5 hours. I’m sitting here with my thumb up my ass bored out of my skull. I go and ask if I need to stick around. “If I let you go, I’m gonna catch hell” was my answer. So, since I (used to) like the person I asked. I’m staying around. I’m bored.
